An instructional approach in which students receive content and information ahead of the classroom meeting – by readings and or videos, then practice and exercise the knowledge and skills through interactive activities during the class session. Considered flipped to traditional approach of presenting information in class and practicing with follow up assignment, often outside of class (homework).
